Inspired by the song [link] and by [link], an amazing piece of fan art which led me to the song. I don't know...I tried to make this look good, but eventually I just had to stop. That's Luna on the little screen and (not shown) in the ship...made the most sense to me.
Without context, I read this as Twilight scouting out a wrecked space colony alone, until an accident severed her tether, and she's drifting. . . close to the door, but not going to reach it. Heartwrenching.
The song and music video I was spoofing are fairly sad (the video has it's own story--in space), and drawing is when I like to be theatrical. Here's the link again, in case you missed it: [link] . This will clear things up better than if I attempted to describe it.
i absolutly love your art too idk if i have that ind of talent b/c i dont have the means to explore the dif types of art so yea... :/ im gonna save up for a tablet tho and try my hand at computer art

"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."
My first thoughts upon seeing this picture.

"2001: A Space Odyssey" (Oh, that's been on my list of things to watch for a while.)

Ahhh...that does make sense. Opportunity missed. On the other hand, if that crossover doesn't exist, I do not know this fandom or the internet.
